One team. A role for every Pokémon.
All-22 football lineups have an 11-player offense and an 11-player defense. Your offense faces the opponent’s defense, and your defense takes over when they have the ball. Here, familiar Pokémon fill those roles in a short, browser-based draft challenge.
This page offers its own single-player rules. For the original project’s games and multiplayer Fantasy Draft, visit the original All-22 Pokémon project.
How to Play All 22 Pokémon
- Scout four candidates. Each card shows its best remaining positions. A high fit score helps, but a versatile player can solve more than one problem.
- Choose an empty position. Preview the fit, then confirm. That position locks. The other cards leave the run, so you cannot count on seeing them again.
- Use your five rerolls carefully. A reroll replaces the whole pack. You can draft only one Legendary or Mythical Pokémon across all 22 positions.
- Play the season and learn. A complete team plays 17 games. Expand a result to see its drives, then compare your strongest and weakest units before starting a new run.
Lead the offense
Quarterbacks favor Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed. Alakazam is a strong passing specialist.
Alakazam · QB · 89 fit in this rulesetBuild your protection
Centers favor HP, Defense and Weight. Snorlax can anchor your line, but choosing it here means using someone else at fullback.
Snorlax · C · 94 fit in this rulesetFind open space
Receivers favor Speed. Jolteon also fits in the secondary, so compare your remaining positions before committing.
Jolteon · WR1 · 86 fit in this rulesetWin with a balanced roster
Passing meets coverage, running meets run defense, and your protection meets the opponent’s pass rush. The weakest fits also pull down each unit. Opponents have different strengths, so your roster’s shape matters alongside its overall rating.
Matchups affect the odds of scoring, turning the ball over or ending a drive without points. A strong team can still lose. A 17–0 result is a perfect regular season; this version does not include playoffs or a Super Bowl.
Questions before kickoff
How does this All 22 Pokémon challenge work?
Choose one Pokémon from a four-card pack, place it in any empty position and confirm your pick. Fill 11 offense and 11 defense positions, then play one saved 17-game regular season. You have five pack rerolls and can draft at most one Legendary or Mythical Pokémon.
Can I change my picks or replay a season?
Confirmed challenge picks stay locked, and each run has one saved season result. Free Builder lets you edit, swap teammates and simulate practice seasons. You can copy a finished challenge into Free Builder without changing its record.
Which Pokémon and stats are supported?
This version uses the original 151 Kanto species in their basic forms, with modern typing and base stats. Kanto describes the species pool, not the original Red and Blue battle rules. Each species can occupy one position.
How are ratings and results calculated?
Our position ratings combine relevant base stats, weight where appropriate, and a small bonus for suitable types. The roster produces six units: passing, running, protection, pass rush, run defense and coverage. Those units face the opponent’s units over 12 drives per side, with a symmetric overtime tiebreaker when needed. Type variety has no team score bonus.
Is my progress saved?
Picks, the current pack, rerolls and challenge results are saved in this browser. Free Builder is stored separately. Browser storage must be available; clearing it or changing devices removes local progress. Roster links open in Free Builder and do not transfer challenge records.
Is this the original All-22 game?
This is an independent fan-made builder and single-player challenge with its own scoring and rules. It is not affiliated with the original All-22 project or the Pokémon rights holders. It does not offer multiplayer snake drafts or live football controls.
